Work on the enzymatic hydrolysis of PEF polyesters just was accepted in Green Chemistry. This work was led by researchers at the BOKU in Tulln, Austria. We contributed to this work by conducting quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation monitoring meaurements to assess the rates and extents of enzymatic hydrolysis of selected PEF films.
